Ticket to Ride

Place the board in the middle. Each player takes 45 train pieces of one color and a set of train cards. Shuffle the ticket cards and deal 3 to each player (keep at least 2).

1. On your turn, do one of three actions: draw 2 train cards from the deck or face-up piles, claim a route by playing matching train cards and placing your trains on the board, or draw 3 more ticket cards (keep at least 1).
2. You cannot claim a route if you don't have enough cards or if another player already took it.
3. Gray routes can be claimed with any one color of cards.

Points are awarded for claimed routes (longer routes give more points). At the end, add points for completed tickets (connecting two cities), subtract points for unfinished tickets. The player with the highest total wins.

Ticket to Ride Europe adds tunnels and ferries. 1910 expansion adds bigger cards and new tickets.
